Alison Oleson

President

Alison is passionate about ensuring the quality of this community and safeguarding a high level of education for area students.  After graduating from James Madison University, Alison returned to the northern Virginia area and worked in marketing and is currently the owner and President of Startte, a marketing and consulting company, as well as the owner of Team Friday, a creative agency.

Paul Mulligan
Vice President

Paul Mulligan has been a Mason District resident for 36 years.  As an economist, Paul has worked in regional and international economic development with an expertise in energy, environment, and private sector development as well as macro/microeconomic policies.  His experience has covered work in the United States, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Middle East, Africa and the former Soviet Union with USAID and private consulting companies.

Kenan Cehic
Treasurer

Kenan has worked as a DoD contractor and Patent Agent, and is currently employed as a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Patent Bar and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. As a Mason District homeowner, he has served as the Vice President of the Sunset Manor & Dowden Terrace Civic Association, spearheading an effort to re-pave neighborhood roads, and supported successful initiatives for traffic calming and zoned parking in the neighborhood.

Lisa DuBois
Secretary

Lisa has lived in the DC metro area for over 25 years and is a licensed realtor in Virginia, and Washington DC having received numerous awards for sales and Realtor community involvement. Lisa has served in many community volunteer capacities, her most recent role as President of Rebuilding Together of Washington DC. She is a past member of Soroptimist International of Washington DC where she worked on numerous committees and events to benefit the women and children of the nation’s capital.

Justin carwell
Board Member

Justin is the Executive Director of Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads in which he provides leadership and support to staff and residents. His career includes over 30 years in the hospitality industry in many facets and leadership positions. He is a graduate from Johnson & Wales University with degrees in Culinary Arts and Foodservice Management. He is a Certified Dietary Manager, Food Management Professional and a licensed Nursing Home Administrator.

sean ek
Board Member

Sean, a Mason District resident, graduated from Virginia Tech, with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Sean  works in development as a commercial HVAC sales engineer, working with developers, contractors and engineers to provide energy efficient and cost-effective solutions for new construction and retrofit projects.  Sean is the Programs Director for National Capitol Region, Society of Healthcare Engineers and an active member in American Society Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers

John Rinaldi
Board Member

John is a Fairfax County resident who has worked as a Land Planning Manager at Christopher Consultants, Ltd. since 2001. John is AICP certified and has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo, Canada, and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph, Canada. John has been actively involved with many recent redevelopment efforts in Fairfax County and the region, including Springfield Town Center and Potomac Shores.

joe sirni
Board Member

Joe Sirni is a Senior Property Manager in the Mid-Atlantic portfolio of JLL Retail. He is responsible for the overall management, operations, financial performance and marketing of retail centers, including Crossroads Center. Joe brings 40 years of experience in the real estate industry, including management, business development, development, property management and leasing.  Joe is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and holds the designation of Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM).

Anwar somani
Board Member

Anwar is a local business owner in Seven Corners.  He is also involved in a distribution business and real estate development.  Anwar has been a member of the BC7RC board for more than ten years.  After graduating from the University of Illinois in 1979, Anwar moved to the DC area in 1980 and has lived in this area ever since.  Anwar lived in the Falls Church area from 1983 to 1993.  Anwar is keenly interested to see controlled business and residential growth in our area with an emphasis on revitalizing our community.

Alis Wang
Board Member

Alis has lived in the Northern Virginia area for the last 11 years. She has a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs and Master’s Degrees from the London School of Economics and New York University. Alis currently serves as a Senior Principal with a consulting firm based in Northern Virginia. She is also a member of the Fairfax County Human Services Council and a volunteer with the Fairfax County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).

kim wilkins
Board Member

Kim, a graduate of Syracuse University, has lived in Falls Church since 1997. Kim has worked for the Department of Justice since 1991. As Diversity Coordinator, Kim started an outreach program with local schools and is  recognized by the Attorney General for Outstanding Leadership in Equal Employment Opportunity. Kim has been active with PTAs, AGBC, Mason District Little League, formed a group of Fairfax County parents of kids with vision impairments, and participating in local traffic-calming task force.
